Emery L. Chen, MD, FACS

Dr. Emery Chen, MD, FACS, is the highest volume robotic general and endocrine surgery specialist in the Santa Clarita, San Fernando, and Antelope Valleys.  He has been practicing surgery for over 11 years. 

Dr. Chen offers a variety of minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic assisted operations: removal of gallbladder, appendix, colon; laparoscopic robotic assisted hernia repair (inguinal, umbilical, ventral, recurrent incisional); laparoscopic robotic assisted reconstruction of abdominal wall (roboTAR, roboTAPP, robo-eTEPP); minimally invasive endocrine surgery:  Minimally Invasive Parathyroidectomy (MIP),  thyroidectomy for benign and malignant nodules, laparoscopic robotic assisted removal of adrenal gland and endocrine pancreas nodules.

Jatinder Pruthi, MD, FACG, CPI

Jatinder Pruthi, MD, FACG has been practicing as a Gastroenterology and Liver Specialist for over 20 years.  He graduated from the prestigious Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjab, India and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.  He then went on to do a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in LA which included advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP, and transplant hepatology.  Dr. Pruthi has co-authored over 14 research papers and is an active investigator for OM Research.

Dr. Pruthi brings a wealth of GI knowledge and expertise to the Antelope Valley and offers a full array of gastroenterology services including, but not limited to, upper endoscopy, esophageal dilation, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, capsule endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, esophageal testing, endoscopic ultrasound and hemorrhoid banding.

Rafael Lemus-Rangel, MD, FACS

Dr. Rafael Lemus-Rangel is a surgeon who practices out of the Antelope Valley and the greater Los Angeles area of California and has been a practicing surgeon for the past 10 years.. Dr. Lemus-Rangel is currently affiliated with Palmdale Regional Medical Center and is one of very few surgeons in these facilities who specialize in robotic surgery.
